Thalgau-Labyrinth 2007
Design: Marianne Ewaldt
7-circuit grass-gravel labyrinth, permanent
Diameter: 16,60 m including the protective area around the path (thread
of Ariadne)
Thanks to the initiative of vice-mayor Karl Oberascher, M.A., the labyrinth
was placed in the centre of the market town of Thalgau. It is the focus
of the Via Sacra- the chapel path.
The entrance into the labyrinth is also the beginning of the chapel path
which winds through 22 stations (visiting the chapels in the region around
the village) back to the labyrinth, which is now the exit.
