Stone Labyrinth 1997

Stone Labyrinth (7 paths, permanent structure), in the field next to the school in Obdach (Steiermark)
Materials: 5 tons of river stones
Diameter: 18 m
The entrance is oriented towards a nearby historic celtic mound.

The children were invited to paint the stones so that they would establish a personal connection with the labyrinth through their 'own stone', thus avoiding vandalism.
In fact children from other schools also often visit the labyrinth outside school hours or in times of stress.
In 2004 a new generation of  schoolchildren enthusiastically repainted all the labyrinth stones.
