Ceramic Objects 2004

These manifold objects were made around the theme of Light and Matter.

Objects need light to be able to throw shadows.

A closed container conceals secrets, the unknown; it is a hiding place. Questions light up the unknown, light shines in new spaces - a process of transformation occurs - from darkness to light, from the unknown to the known.

There is the play of light and shadow. The goal is maximal transparency. Matter and 'non-matter' (spirit/spirituality) stand not in opposition to each other, but rather add to each other forming an harmonic whole.
