Exhibition - Gallery of the Stadt Salzburg Zwerglgartenpavillon

The idea to this project came from the Salzburg artist Otto Beck. Following this invitation, I occupied myself intensively over several months with the theme „recalling our own transitory existence".
It could be a possible assignment for artists, to enrich the cultural departing rituals of our society with new creative impulses.
My artistically decorated „travelcase for H." (poplarwood coffin) is completely gilded inside, as well as the labyrinth pattern on the outside surface.

The labyrinth as a metaphor for the path of life, from birth to death, and gold as a symbol for the approach towards the divine - the journey of the soul from matter to light.
